Based in Berlin -Treptow and online, I support adults of all ages, from all over the world facing general anxiety, stress, depression, managing and healing physical pain or illness, grief (loosing a parent young)and the need to reconnect with themselves more deeply.
My practice blends talking therapy, creative processes, body-based awareness, and subtle energy work. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, I offer an integrative and responsive approach that honours your individuality.
You don’t need to be ‘artistic’ or ‘spiritual’ to benefit from this work—just curious about meeting yourself in new ways.
About Me
Caroline Argent — UKCP Registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist
Studied and accredited in England and registered with the UKCP and HIP with over 12 years of experience in private practice and community mental health. I’m also trained in complementary therapeutic modalities that enrich and deepen the work, including:
- Living Body Psychotherapy Julianne Appel-Opper– a somatic, relational approach that supports healing through body awareness and present-moment experience.
- Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing – a structured, trauma-informed method using drawing and bilateral movement to support nervous system regulation and emotional integration.
- Energy Medicine (Pranic Healing) – working with the body’s energy field to support physical and emotional wellbeing, for rejuvenation, regeneration and strengthening.
Together, these approaches enable me to offer a nuanced, holistic therapy space that works with the mind, body, emotions, and energy system.

My Approach
As an integrative therapist, I draw from multiple psychological theories—including humanistic, psychodynamic, somatic, transpersonal, and trauma-informed models—and adapt them to you.
At the heart of my work is the relationship between client and therapist. In a safe, reflective space, you’re invited to explore what is contributing to your feeling unwell. Together, we rediscover your beliefs, your relationships, your emotional and physical patterns—to hear and acknowledge what may be calling for attention or care
We may work with:
- Traditional talking therapy
- Creative arts such as drawing, modelling, metaphor, or imagery
- Body-based awareness and gentle movement (Living Body Psychotherapy- Julianne Appel Opper)
- Healing Trauma with Guided Drawing to process trauma in a safe, structured way
- Pranic Healing working with your chakras and thoughts to balance the body’s energy and support deep restoration
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about yourself, our work together will be collaborative and led by your pace, preferences, life or work goals.
What is Integrative Arts Psychotherapy?
Integrative Arts Psychotherapy is a form of therapy that blends traditional talking therapy with creative, non-verbal expression. This approach doesn’t require any artistic skill; it’s not about the end product, but the process. The arts can often say what words cannot—and through them, we find clarity, connection, and new perspectives.
I recognise that we express and understand ourselves in many ways—not just through words. The arts and body can offer powerful access to our inner world, helping us to process experiences and understand and accept ourselves..
This work can help you:
- Rediscover personal resources
- Understand the motivations behind thoughts and behaviors
- Develop self-reflection and emotional depth
- Find new ways forward and resilience
Through the power of imagination and creativity, Integrative Arts Psychotherapy supports your natural capacity to heal and grow. It creates a bridge between your inner and outer worlds, offering a compassionate space to express, understand, and transform.
You don’t need any artistic skill—the focus is on expression, not outcome. Creativity is simply one of many bridges to deeper self-awareness and healing.Integrative Arts Psychotherapy recognises that we express and understand ourselves in many ways—not just through words. The arts and body can offer powerful access to our inner world, helping us process experiences, access unconscious material, and restore a sense of self.
